The Science Behind the Score

Four mechanisms that make GenPicked scores immune to the noise that plagues every other tool.

α

Bradley-Terry Ranking

The same algorithm used to rank ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini against each other. We apply it to brand recommendations. Every pairwise comparison feeds a maximum likelihood estimate of true brand strength.

λ

Latin Square Counterbalancing

We run both "Nike vs Garmin" AND "Garmin vs Nike." This experimental design cancels order effects. If the first-mentioned brand gets a 7% boost, it vanishes when you measure both directions.

Σ

Sycophancy Detection

AI tells Nike what Nike wants to hear. We catch it by running queries blind AND named. If scores diverge more than 20%, we adjust downward. Your visibility reflects reality, not flattery.

Deterministic Brand Detection

We do not use AI to judge AI. Brand mentions are detected via exact string matching. "Nike" found = counted. "A major sportswear brand" = not counted. No ambiguity.

Phase 01

Measure — What does AI say about you?

The dashboard shows 3 hero metric cards: Visibility Score (0-100), Perception Word (Positive/Neutral/Negative), and Competitive Rank (#3 of 12 competitors).

A competitive leaderboard shows how you rank across all models. Toggle between GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity — each model has its own quirks and preferences.

Click through to the Direct Query panel. See the exact response text from each model. Every data point is traceable to a specific question and a specific AI response.

Filter by question type: Organic, Brand Authority, or Comparison. Understand the full topology of your AI presence.

Phase 02

Investigate — Why are you losing?

Source Attribution Heatmap: which content sources help competitors but not you. Absence from a key source costs you AI recommendation points.

Perception Gaps Dashboard: see where you are strong and where competitors own the narrative. Drill into the specific language AI uses.

Competitive Forensics: per-competitor breakdown showing exactly where you win and lose in the buyer journey across all 4 AI models.

Model Divergence: understand which models are your advocates and which ones are obstacles.

Phase 03

Optimize — What should you do?

Kanban board organized by 3 business goals: Revenue, Reputation, Reach. Drag cards between Suggested, In Progress, and Completed as you work through them.

AI-generated action cards with impact estimates. Each action is specific, measurable, and prioritized by expected visibility lift.

Difficulty rating (Easy/Medium/Hard), timeline, and expected impact. Actions tagged by category: PR, Content, Product, SEO, Partnerships.

The War Room learns from your actions. As you mark items complete, it refines future recommendations and predicts which next steps deliver the highest ROI.

Phase 04

Monitor — Are things getting better?

Time-series trend charts across 12-month history. Toggle between Visibility, Authority, and Selection. See the exact trajectory of your AI presence over time.

Monitoring frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly (configurable). Perception shift alerts when your scores change or competitors make moves.

Statistical significance detection. Real change vs noise. Do not celebrate a +2 point swing within the margin of error. Do not panic about a -1 dip that is just variance.

Competitor momentum tracking. Is your competitor accelerating? Did they level off? Watch the competitive landscape shift in real-time.

Phase 05

Report — What do you send clients?

White-label report builder with section toggles: Executive Summary, Visibility Scores, Competitive Leaderboard, Perception Analysis, Action Plan, Trends. You control what they see.

Custom agency branding: your logo, your colors, your domain. Generates a shareable link (expires 30 days). Client portal is read-only — they see their scores and recommendations, not your methodology.

Analytics: how many views, which sections read, whether they clicked “Solutions.” Understand which insights resonate with your clients.

Client sees: hero metric (their visibility score), competitive leaderboard, trend chart, 10 specific actions, and a “Solutions” card linking to your retainer services.

White-Label Report View

Your clients think you built it. That is the point.

Custom domain: ai.myagency.com. Agency logo and colors on every screen. Client portals branded under your agency name.

Clients never see GenPicked. No footer links. No referral language. No reminders that this is a white-label platform. They think the agency engineered it.

Email digests, reports, dashboards — all agency-branded. When a client gets a weekly alert “Your visibility score is up 3 points this week,” it comes from you, not from us.

This creates lock-in. A client who thinks their agency built a proprietary AI monitoring engine is a client for life. It is your competitive moat.
