Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules and guidelines for using the GenPicked platform and all related services (the “Service”). This AUP is part of and incorporated into ourTerms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

2.1 Unlawful Activities

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Engage in or facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any other financial crime.
• Infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets.
• Collect or process personal data in violation of applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent).

2.2 Harmful Content

• Generate, distribute, or promote content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or that incites violence.
• Create or distribute misleading or deceptive content, including deepfakes, disinformation, or spam.
• Generate content that impersonates any person or entity, or falsely claims affiliation with any person or entity.
• Produce content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors in any way.

2.3 Platform Abuse

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems and networks.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or degrades performance for other users.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or other technical restrictions.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.

2.4 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

• Use the Service’s email or outreach features to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, or other applicable anti-spam laws.
• Send communications to recipients who have opted out or have not provided consent.
• Use purchased, scraped, or otherwise improperly obtained email lists through the Service.
• Misrepresent the sender identity or use deceptive subject lines in communications sent through the Service.

2.5 Resale & Unauthorized Distribution

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our express written authorization.
• Share account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service.

3. Responsible AI Use

When using GenPicked’s AI-powered features, you agree to the following responsible use principles:

• Review and verify all AI-generated content before publishing or sharing it with clients or the public.
• Do not represent AI-generated content as human-created where disclosure is required by law or industry standards.
• Do not use AI features to generate content that manipulates or deceives search engines in ways that violate their terms of service.
• Do not attempt to extract or replicate the underlying AI models or their training data through the Service.
• Report any harmful, biased, or concerning AI outputs to support@genpicked.com so we can investigate and improve our systems.

4. Usage Limits

Your use of the Service is subject to the usage limits of your subscription plan. These may include limits on API calls, content generation requests, monitored domains, team members, and storage. If you consistently exceed your plan limits, we may ask you to upgrade to a higher tier or moderate your usage. We reserve the right to throttle or restrict access in cases of excessive or abusive usage.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us atabuse@genpicked.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include issuing a warning, suspending features, or terminating the offending account.

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine whether a use of the Service violates this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including:

• Issuing a warning to the account holder.
• Temporarily or permanently suspending account access.
• Removing or disabling content that violates this AUP.
• Terminating the account and all associated data.
• Reporting illegal activities to relevant law enforcement authorities.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
